Gold Standard pawn shop prides itself as a higher-end establishment. With four locations in Queens, the store has established itself as one of the main players in the pawnshop industry. They have locations in Forest Hills, Elmhurst, Astoria and Floral Park, as well as four other stores on Long Island. Among the items they sell and loan are jewelry made out of gold and silver, high-end watches such as Rolex, musical instruments and even gold teeth. They also take in items on collateral loan, which is when someone loans an item to a pawnshop in exchange for money and the store keeps it for a certain amount of time. Read More.
